About:

Merrin is driven by the strong belief in the power of movement as medicine and believes in self-management and active rehabilitation to keep you doing what you enjoy. She has interests in Dance, Calisthenics and Gymnastics Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates and remaining active through the lifespan.


Merrin started competitive Calisthenics and Dance at the age 3 and is still an active member of her Masters section today. Highlights of her 3.5+ decade long involvement in the Sport include being lucky enough to participate in the 1999 Australia Gymnastics Team that went to World Gymaestrada in Sweden displaying Australian Calisthenics to the World, 4 Pan Pacific Masters Games and many other high-level State and Local competitions.


Her love of calisthenics, dance, sport and movement then drove her to complete degrees in both Exercise Science and Physiotherapy. During this time, she also was on the Medical Team at the Commonwealth Games in 2006 and spent 8 years as a Sports Trainer for a local level Aussie Rules
Team. Merrin graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2008 from Monash University and has extensive experience in private practice, where she has constantly up-skilled and trained- particularly when it comes to Clinical Pilates & Exercise based Rehab. Her education and knowledge in these areas is unparalleled.
