WE DON'T: Take measurements, weigh ourselves, take before and after shots, diet, tease, mock or shame. EVER.
WE DO: Pet all the dogs, giggle, drink coffee, dance like idiots, get stronger, sing along to sick tunes, get fit, have parties, celebrate our bodies, hang out, smash goals, make friends, eat cake, make mistakes, learn from them, share fashion tips.
Personal Training FAQs
I don't feel ready to join group classes, but I can't afford PT... what shall I do?
1. Come try FUNdamentals, our intro class, teaching you the fundamental movement patterns you'll need in group fitness, but with extra tume spent on technique, a bit more time to rest and recover - ut still heaps of FUN!
2. Train with a buddy! Split the cost of a PT in half by training with a friend or family member.
3. No-one want to train with you? Their loss! Let us know... and we can match you with a training buddy.
I'm too unfit to go to the gym. what shall I do?
You can't be too unfit to go to the gym! That's exactly what we're here for! to help you at this most challenging phase. We promise, we won't be shocked or judgey - we see people through every stage of their fitness journey - let us help you - it's what we live for. Everyone has to start somewhere - let's make it here and now.
What do I need to bring to my session?
A towel, a water bottle, comfy clothes and shoes! We can take care of the rest.
Is it normal to be sore after training?
While it's certainly not what we're aiming for, sometimes we do experience some muscle soreness. It's totally normal and nothing to worry about (sometimes it can even feel quite rewarding). Muscle soreness is by no means an essential part of getting strong, it tends to happen when we do something at a level we're unaccustomed to... at the start that can be almost everything! It can last several days, but as your body get's used to the movement it becomes much less frequent. If you're concerned, feel free to give us a call!
I don't have childcare, can I bring my kid?
If your kid is happy to sit quietly at reception and entertain themselves - and you are cool to take full responsibility for them - of course! We love kids! However children are not allowed on the gym equipment unless they are in their own session supervised by a PT or Physio. If we believe a child is behaving unsafely or interfering with someone else's experience, we may ask you not to bring them in the future.
I'm a devoted fur parent, Can I bring my dog / cat/ rat?
If your fur baby is happy to sit quietly at reception and entertain themselves - and you are cool to take full responsibility for them - of course! We love animals! PLEASE LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. We have our own furry regulars - 2 dogs and a cat, who can go hang out in one of the treatment rooms while other animals are on site.
If we believe an animal is unsafe or interfering with someone else's experience, we may ask you not to bring them in the future (e.g. whilst lot's of barking is completely normal and fun, it can get a bit intense for others sharing the space.)

I have anxiety and find certain environments overwhelming - is Fit bomb for me?
We will do everything we can to try and make it so! Anxiety is something many of our team have experienced first hand. New places are stressful. Gyms are awful, exercise is terrifying! We get it. Come in have a cry, and a cup of tea, pet a fluffy cat and we can go from there! If there are certain things you find triggering and you feel comfortable giving us a heads- up we can try and limit those triggers in advance. If you don't think Fit Bomb is for you, that's also ok, we are all wonderfully different, and nowhere is going to be all things to all people. We value your feedback as we are constantly endeavouring to be better, and will help you to find the right place for you if Fit Bomb isn't it.
I am neurodivergent and find certain environments overwhelming - is Fit Bomb for me?
We will do everything we can to try and make it so! We have a neurodiverse team who are empathetic to your needs. New places are stressful. Gyms are awful. Exercise is terrifying. Strangers are scary. We get it.
If there are certain things you find triggering and you feel comfortable giving us a heads- up we can try and limit those triggers in advance.
e.g. loud noises, lot's of people, heat/cold etc, talk to us before your session, and we can plan it for a time that we know will be less busy, and mean we can have quiet to no music, less social interaction, full control of the aircon etc.

Hell yeah! Come down for a cuppa and a look around! Shoot us a message first so we can make sure there's someone available to welcome you, give you a little tour and answer any questions you may have.
Can I come in and train on my own?
No. At Fit Bomb you need to have a 1:1 booking with a practitioner OR be coming for a group class. We don't have 'open gym' sessions, you must be supervised at all times.
I have a really unhealthy lifestyle - is there any point in exercising?
YES YES YES! It doesn't have to be all or nothing! Any tiny good thing you do for yourself is going to have a positive impact on your life. What you do outside of the gym is none of our business, we're just here to help you get your body moving while you're with us. We often find good things lead to good things - moving your body might help you to sleep better, sleeping better might make you feel happier, feeling happier might make you want to move more...etc
I hate cardio - will I be forced to do it?
No! We will never make you do anything you don't want to. There are limitless possibilities for what we can do in the gym, all of them worthwhile. We'll find the things you love, and ditch the things you hate!
Can I use my NDIS funding?
Normally yes, but you'll need to talk to your plan manager and check what health / social activities are included in your plan. It does vary from case to case, but alot of our PT, group fitness, physio and pilates clients are able to have their sessions funded.
Can I use my health insurance?
No. Unfortunately health funds don't currently cover personal training and fitness.
1:1 PT sessions are priced at:
30 mins $66
45 mins $99
60 mins $132
These sessions can be shared at no extra cost - so share with a mate or family member and pay only 50% WHAT?!?! while this is generally unheard of in the fitness world, we don't want anyone not to have access to our gym because of financial reasons... so train in a pair - $33 each.
